Electro Terminal is certified according to the ISO 9001 quality management standard, the ISO 14001 environmental management standard and the ISO 45001 occupational safety management system. These standards stand for the highest quality with maximum environmental performance and compliance with work and safety standards.

At Electro Terminal, we have implemented environmentally conscious actions that even exceed these standards:

• As a plastics processing company, we convert production-related environmental pollution into something positive, for example by avoiding petroleum-based heating. Instead, we recover heat from the cooling water of the compressors of our machines to heat our office building and to supply it with hot water.

• Electro Terminal has set itself the goal of putting zero PVC into the environmental cycle. In all our manufacturing processes, we ensure that any residues are disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.

• We are also one of the pioneers in Tyrol when it comes to generating electricity. One of Innsbruck's largest photovoltaic systems has been installed on the roof of our company building by the Innsbuck based company Fiegl + Spielberger. This alternative energy system consists of 297 solar panels, each about 1.6 m² in dimension. The total area is roughly the size of a basketball court. The annual yield of around 80,000 kWh corresponds to the yearly consumption of around 20 average households. The generated energy flows directly into our production.
