Shanghai & Chocolate – An "otherworldly" journey
你好 Nǐ hǎo!
As part of our Business & Management bachelor’s program at MCI Innsbruck, we had the opportunity to fly to Shanghai for 16 days. We attended classes at Fudan University Shanghai in economics, culture and local history. As a reward for all of our hard work, we visited some of the Shanghai sights and enjoyed the incredible view of Pudong along with a bottle (or two) of Tsingtao from the rooftop bars on the Bund.
Our business partners from IETC, SHANGHAI INCHIPS ELECTRONICS TECHNIQUES, treated us royally. They insisted on showing us their home base off the beaten tourist tracks. One of our absolute highlights was trying to eat noodle soup and dumplings with chopsticks. – It was a highlight for everyone else at the restaurant as well. All photo and video documentation has been destroyed to avoid further embarrassment.
In a moment of not-so-selfless inspiration, we suggested visiting the Zotter chocolate factory in Shanghai for some extensive chocolate tasting ☝ :-). Our friends from IETC gladly agreed, and it turned out to be a wonderfully entertaining event for the IETC staff and family – and ourselves, of course.
谢谢 & 再见
