Perfect connections for household appliances: KADO 2/3 & KADO FL

Modern household appliances require reliable electrical connections. With the KADO 2/3 OS and KADO FL junction boxes, we offer two solutions designed for single-phase applications in household appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers, built-in ovens, cooktops, and washing machines.

KADO 2/3 – robust and practical

The KADO 2/3 is compact and efficient. Its specialized design ensures a secure earthing, while the screwless strain relief enables fast and reliable installation. Pre-opened screws allow for extra quick conductor connection. A RAST 5-compatible version is available for even faster and safer wiring, and an optional external earthing contact provides additional flexibility. A durable hinge mechanism ensures robust and reliable operation.

KADO FL – slim, flexible, efficient

With its low-profile design, the KADO FL is ideal for installations in confined spaces. It offers the same advantages as the KADO 2/3—from fast wiring with pre-opened screws to a robust hinge mechanism. Additionally, test openings allow for final testing even with the cover closed.
As a unique feature, KADO FL has breakout sections in the housing, which can be removed at predefined points to allow for horizontal cable entry when needed.
The KADO FL junction box comes with a standard external earthing plate for quick and precise screw positioning.

Both the KADO 2/3 and KADO FL comply with EN60335-1 requirements. The carefully selected materials make them suitable for use in unattended appliances with a current load exceeding 0.2A (GWIT 775 approval for insulating material).
They are free from halogen compounds and phosphorus.
