INSIDE ET - Assembly Department
With decades of experience, Stefan leads Electro Terminal’s assembly department, where in-house stamped and plastic parts are turned into high-quality connection products.
Career Path
In 1983, Stefan started his apprenticeship as a toolmaker at Electro Terminal. After the three-and-a-half-year program, he started working as a maintenance technician in the Assembly Department. Later he became deputy to the Head of the department and finally headed the Assembly Department himself. Here are his insights on how the department works:
Team & Production
The Assembly Department has 18 employees who work in 3 shifts, if necessary, also on Saturdays. We assemble the individual parts ( inserts, screws, insulation parts) into electrical connection technology products, mainly for the building installation sector. All components, except for the screws, are produced in our in-house Stamping Department and our Plastic Molding Department before we assemble them on 14 different machines. For smaller orders, products are assembled manually.

Goodbye EKL S
With quiet respect and a touch of nostalgia, we bid a final farewell to the EKL S terminal. For many years, it was a reliable fixture in control cabinets, junction boxes, and installations of all kinds. Unobtrusive in appearance, uncompromising in function – a terminal that was never loud, but always there.
