Anton ensures smooth material procurement at Electro Terminal as a dispatcher, playing a key role in timely production.
Introduction
Today, we would like to show you what our disposition department does and introduce you to one of our valued employees. Anton has been an important part of our team at Electro Terminal for about seven years.
Career Start
His professional journey started in 2005 after completing his education at the commercial academy. He says, "I gained valuable experience as a dispatcher in international freight transport at a shipping company." In 2011, he decided to advance his career further, exploring different roles in purchasing and production planning at various industrial companies.
Main Tasks
At Electro Terminal, Anton is mainly responsible for the timely procurement of raw materials and semi-finished products parts for our production. He explains, "My tasks include close coordination with our internal logistics, production planning and confirming delivery dates for customer orders."
One of his biggest challenges is maintaining the supply of raw materials for production without unnecessarily increasing inventory. He emphasizes, "Finding this
balance requires close collaboration with our sales, controlling and purchasing teams."
Additional Tasks
Other tasks include timely procurement of sample materials for new products, efficiently phasing out materials for items at the end of their product lifecycle, and providing replacement materials in the event of quality complaints.
Anton particularly appreciates the wide range of training opportunities and the chance to contribute his knowledge to projects. "I consider Electro Terminal a family-friendly employer that offers flexible working hours and the option to work from home."
