INSIDE ET - Sales

Rosa-Maria started her career at Electro Terminal with a business education at the Commercial Academy in Innsbruck followed by professional experience in the credit department of a bank. She joined our company in 2011, working in Inside Sales. In 2013, she took on the role of Area Sales Manager for South Africa and North America.

After completing further training in electrical engineering and a part-time Bachelor's program in Business & Management at MCI, she was promoted to Head of Sales in 2017. A special milestone followed in 2018, when she became a shareholder in our company. Since 2019, she has also been Head of Marketing and Portfolio Management, which includes Product Management and R&D.

Explaining the challenges and tasks of the sales team, Rosa-Maria says: "My main tasks in sales include key account management, pricing, developing suitable marketing strategies and customer relationship management - exciting business trips included. We also use our regular interactions with customers around the world for market research and for planning the development of future products together with our R&D department.

The challenges we face are many and varied. The unpredictability of global developments such as the current crises or other macroeconomic and microeconomic events often make long-term planning difficult. At the same time, sales planning is required for controlling and coordinating the work in other departments. We have to balance the market's desire for constant product availability with the needs of production and logistics, which, among other things, controls inventory value and therefore working capital.

What stands out to me at Electro Terminal is the remarkable unity and mutual support among the departments. The challenges of the recent years have further strengthened these ties. We share common goals and a common vision - success and recognition in the market as a specialist in electromechanical connectors and system components.
